About

Our purpose is to keep ideas that can adversely impact the mental health and worldview of students out of public school education. Our objectives are to:

  1. Remove inappropriate sexual content from public education. K-12 education must focus on established facts, respect for all forms of life, and tolerance for diverse beliefs without those beliefs being forced upon students.
  2. Uphold the right of parents and guardians to be fully aware of and to participate in determining what their children are being taught.

We aim to protect children from elements in school board curriculums and strategies in education system that expose children to SOGI 123 ideology and/or to age-inappropriate contents that go beyond teaching and push normative views on children that blatantly go against the beliefs and values of many students and their families.

We agree that there are certain elements of the SOGI 123 policies and curriculum that are non-controversial. However, we are concerned that the safety issues inherent in some components of SOGI 123 curriculum are not being adequately addressed. We are also concerned that the policies and procedures being developed by boards to implement these components are exceeding the boards’ authorities by applying the components in a manner that pushes normative views of SOGI lifestyles onto children.

We support diversity and inclusion for everyone and demand the same for ourselves. However, schools must be safe spaces that allow for a diverse range of values. If school curriculums go beyond inclusion to force children to engage in practices specific to LGBTQIA2S+ belief system and its ideology, that exceeds school board mandates and conflicts with children’s Charter rights.

The following are some of the activities that we will encourage and facilitate everyone to be engaged into the best of abilities:

– Provide support and resources to all students (including neuro-divergent students and their families) regardless of their affiliation or religious practices

– Protect our future generations by educating and raising awareness of this issue among parents and guardians of students in public schools

– Advocate for bringing more private schools for our children in order to provide easy access to safe education to everyone

– Share news about what’s happening in schools around you and in your communities

– Provide educational info and ready-to-use templates so students and their parents/guardians can use them to schools, teachers, PAC organizing committees to protest inappropriate school curriculums, materials, or practices as they arise

– Offer safe educational options information sessions/workshops (both in-person and online) to children, youth and parents that are offered by many teachers and educators in the community

– Lobby and work with other like-minded organizations – As one united community, collectively and persistently contact school officials, local provincial and federal government representatives to protest against all inappropriate elements in school curriculums, materials or practices.
